Mooney Law to expand into Maryland Workers Comp and Bankruptcy

Mooney Law partner Mark Buterbaugh has been admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland. His admission to Maryland will allow the firm to expand its Workers Compensation and Bankruptcy practices to include Maryland.

Attorney Buterbaugh is one of the managing partner/owners of Mooney Law and manages the firm’s workers compensation practice. His admission will allow the firm to expand its practice to include representing injured workers before the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission.

“It made sense personally and professionally to seek admission to Maryland. We have multiple offices that border Northern Maryland and a few meet locations in Maryland. Over the last few years, we have seen an increase number of calls from Maryland residents seeking our services for Workers Comp and Bankruptcy. Given the fact those are my two core practice areas, admission to Maryland just made too much sense. This allows us to expand both of those areas of practice and serve injured workers before the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission and fight for the benefits they deserve, just like our Pennsylvania clients.” Attorney Mark Buterbaugh

Fellow Mooney law Partner Jason Imler has been admitted in Maryland and handles Maryland Motor Vehicle Accident cases. With both of Mooney Law’s personal injury attorneys admitted to Maryland, the firm is well positioned to assist injured clients in Maryland.

“Frequently, we have residents in Pennsylvania that are hurt on the job in Maryland or injured in a car accident in Maryland. Over the years as our geographic footprint has expanded into Maryland, we get many calls from injured Maryland residents. It really makes business sense for us to have multiple attorneys barred to practice in Maryland. With Attorney Buterbaugh’s admission, it just allows up to expand that footprint.” Attorney Jason Imler

With admission to Maryland, Attorney Buterbaugh will be able to represent injured workers before the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission and before the US Bankruptcy Court of the District of Maryland.
